As the night passed and the morning light sprinkled over the roof, solar panels with a total area of about 57000 square meters crawling on the colored steel tiles gradually woke up from their slumber, shedding the night and revealing their crystal clear and blue figures. They open their hearts to bathe in the morning sun, fully accepting the baptism and gifts of sunlight, and transforming every beam of light into clean energy, delivering it to every corner where it is needed.
This is solar power that full of greenery and a sense of the times, which is connected in rows to create a green landscape of energy conservation, emission reduction, and benefiting the country and the people. If we want to give it a name with a sense of belonging, professionalism, and novelty, it should be called "Jingwei" rooftop distributed photovoltaic power station (hereinafter referred to as Jingwei photovoltaic power station).
The Jingwei Photovoltaic Power Station, with a total installed capacity of approximately 5.6MW, is located in the new and old factory areas of Jingwei. It is a rooftop distributed form with a total investment of approximately 16 million yuan. It was completed in October 2023 and grid-connected in November. The grid connection method is self use and surplus electricity is connected to the grid. Based on a 25 year operation period, the average annual power generation of Jingwei Photovoltaic Power Station is about 5.51 million kilowatt hours, which can reduce carbon emissions by about 4500 tons per year, save electricity costs by about 4.3 million yuan, and net save manufacturing costs by about 3.5 million yuan.

In fact, building rooftop photovoltaic power stations is not a new thing in Jingwei. As early as 2017, while expanding the scale of the photovoltaic slewing drive industry, Jingwei actively explored photovoltaic power stations such as agricultural photovoltaic complementarity and rooftop distribution, and built a demonstration rooftop photovoltaic power station with an annual design power generation of about 190000 kilowatt hours, setting a precedent for local station construction and opening the prelude to the application of green energy by Jingwei.
Nowadays, with the continuous growth and expansion of the three major industries of Jingwei wind power bearings, slewing drives, and slewing bearings, and further responding to the national call for the development of green energy, deepening energy conservation, emission reduction, cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, and striving to build green factories have become new tasks and missions for Jingwei to continue writing green sentiments. To this end, Jingwei fully utilizes the advantageous conditions of numerous, tall, and sturdy factory buildings, taking the construction and expansion of rooftop photovoltaic power stations as the starting point, and embarks on a new green journey with "Sunshine" to achieve photovoltaic empowerment.
In order to successfully build the largest photovoltaic power station in the history of Jingwei, decision-makers from Jingwei started with top-level participation. After thorough deliberation, research, investigation, and in-depth communication with the photovoltaic EPC company, detailed design and planning were carried out on various aspects such as construction content, project benefits, and project construction. At the same time, high standard requirements were put forward for the selection of project component materials and completion acceptance, ensuring the high-quality and timely completion of the photovoltaic power station, and it has achieved stable operation, injecting vitality of new and green productivity in Jingwei. Not only that, Jingwei also serves its employees with the Green Action, taking the lead in building a photovoltaic power generation shed that integrates environmental protection, energy conservation, and consumption reduction among surrounding enterprises, and setting up charging piles to provide convenience and sufficient electricity for the charging of new energy vehicles and electric vehicles for employees.
